Enforcement of IP rights
Industrial property rights usually come into being upon the registration of an intellectual property object. Although registrations are a great basis for protection, they unfortunately cannot guarantee that the owner’s rights will never be infringed. However, there are plenty of effective ways to enforce intellectual property rights.
We represent our clients in intellectual property related disputes in Estonia and Europe, more precisely we:
- advise the the proprietors of intellectual property on defence of their infringed rights;
- prepare warning letters, lawsuits and other procedural documents;
- represent clients at negotiations and in different dispute resolution organisations, such as courts, the Estonian Industrial Board of Appeals, the European Union Intellectual Property Office, World Intellectual Property Office etc.
