The Chamber of Patent Attorneys is being created in Estonia

On November 1, 2018 an amendment of the Law came into force which included the establishment of the Estonian Chamber of Patent Attorneys. The Chamber of Patent Attorneys is a mandatory professional association to which the Ministry of Justice transfers tasks related to the organization of the professional activities of patent attorneys, such as the organization of examinations and in-service training, the collection and publication of statistics, etc. Currently there are 65 patent attorneys in the Estonian Register of Patent Attorneys. According to the law amendment only a member of the Chamber can act as a patent attorney in the future.
